Why we stopped building the dashboard and just made the command line nicer.
We spent two weeks prototyping a dashboard for internal ops tasks. Every time we tested it, engineers still opened a terminal.
So we pivoted and built an opinionated CLI: safe defaults, environment-aware commands, and clearer failure output.
The result was less UI work, fewer bugs, and faster incident response.
